Her work is inspired by a variety of structural forms, amongst them architectural, natural and hand-rendered. Elements are juxtaposed to create new and sometimes surreal images. Her inspiration derives from found images, especially diagrams, maps and typography. Experimentation with layering, composition and cropping evolves into the creation of entirely new structures using a variety of techniques including chine colle, photo-etching and monoprinting.
